This bicycle is named in memory of the long-lived rogue rabbit, Samantha, who was the embodiment of agile fluffiness with a gentle disposition:

Frame
The frame is built in the classic style: Road-racing geometry for a gentle disposition; minimalist lugs, cut-out bottom bracket shell, standard diameter tubes for that classic look; polished stainless steel fork crown, fork blade ends, seat stay caps, and stay ends for classic elegance and durability; and, straight fork blades, offset 7°, for a touch of modernity.

Components
The frame is fitted with three generations of near-turn-of-the-millenium Dura-Ace components for performance and durability, except for the SRAM Red brakes and shift/brake levers, selected for availability. A canted, offset seatpost complements the offset fork.
